DAVID ARROYO

Thank you for checking out my website. My name is David Arroyo and I am a 2019 graduate from Penn State University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Sports Journalism and Information Sciences and Technology. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, and am seeking opportunities in the sports production industry.

Following my graduation from Penn State, I secured an opportunity to work with the Philadelphia Eagles as a digital production assistant. In that role, I worked closely with talent, as well as Eagles digital producers. I acted as a producer for Eagles 360, the team's daily news show, and also worked as a videographer for community events, locker room availabilities and practices. I also was an editor for player of the week highlight packages, as well as the previously mentioned Eagles 360 and community events.

Before that, I had the honor to serve as general manager for CommRadio, Penn State's student-run radio station. I managed all station operations including scheduling, quality control and broadcast logistics. I also helped to initiate on-site coverage of the Super Bowl for the first time in station history, acting as a producer and on-air host from Radio Row and post-game. During my time in CommRadio, I had the chance to produce live broadcasts for 14 NCAA Division I  sports, talk shows and podcasts.

During my time at Penn State, I was also an Executive Producer for the Centre County Report, a 30-minute live television newscast airing in 29 Pennsylvania counties. I managed the workflow by assigning stories to staff reporters and developing rundowns. I also shot, wrote and edited packages and voiceovers, and held multiple control room positions.

These experiences have prepared me for what is to come and I am excited for my next opportunity. I am available by phone (215-888-1903) or by email (arroyodavid01@gmail.com).
